MINIMANCHAS:

Our Minimanchas are all registered with MDGA, any milking stars and Advanced Registry
Certificates were all earned thru MDGA.

We are breeding MiniManchas with the objective of a small to midsize animal that produces
1/2 to 1 gallon of milk daily. We aren't caught up in percentages as some breeders are.
Our objective is to produce a manageable size hardy animal that doesn't require a lot of feed
but produces a great deal of milk for it's size. We chose to work with LaManchas and
Nigerian Dwarfs because we love the easy going Lamancha temperament, while the Nigerians
contribute year round breeding capability, higher butterfat and a smaller frame.
Our top producer now is 25% LaMancha, weighs between 60-65 lbs and produces
6 lbs (3/4th of a gallon) of milk daily. We think that is perfect for a family milker.
She doesn't require a lot of expensive feed to maintain, she gets about 2 lbs of
feed (Noble Goat Dairy Parlor 16) each day along with free choice bermuda hay,
free choice loose mineral and free choice baking soda. She also gets a handful of
black oil sunflower seeds as a treat from time to time.

Herd health is extremely important to us. Our stock has all come from herd(s) that are free of and
test regularly for CAE, Brucellosis, TB, Johnnes & CL. We do draw blood for annual testing and are
happy to draw blood and run tests for any buyer as a contingency of, or prior to, a sale at the expense
of the buyer. Our herd wide tests were run in December 2009 and January 2011. All of the stock at
Bella Grove Farms and Parham Farms tested negative. We test through Biotracking and/or WADDL.

Linebred on MCH Flat Rocks Fox Fire 'E', Cookie is a MiniMancha, She has the sweetest disposition,
"gopher ears" & a beautiful flashy coat; she just exudes femininity. Cookie is an excellent mother,
& loves to be milked. Throughout her 1st lactation, Cookie consistently provided just about 36 oz
of milk each day. With her second freshening, her udder & capacity have improved significantly.
She gave us an average of 72 oz daily with her highest being 92 ounces and her least being
32 oz. Once Cookie started giving me less than a quart at each milking she quickly dried off.
Cookie's 3rd lactation was even better in that she held her production values at a higher level for a
longer period of time. Now in her 4th year of production, Cookie is a wonderful consistent milker,
I had wanted to give her a break this year, but she would have nothing of it and demanded to be bred
screaming bloody murder at the fence with each heat until I gave in.

**WINNER of the self-indulgent Parham Farms MY FAVORITE MILKER award for 2011**
Rebekah has small elf ears with very little cartilidge. Rebekah has wonderful plumb teats and
nice open orifices, a breeze to hand milk. She has her dam's lovely long elegant
neck and a deep wide chest. Rebekah's production increased significantly after
her 2nd freshening, she loves to be milked. She's be a good candidate for an
extended lactation because she DID NOT want to be dried off at the end of 2010.
Though I wasn't absolutely thrilled with Rebekah's first freshening udder, I am
absolutely thrilled with her 3rd freshening udder. This gal is just perfect. Her
attachments are a strong and tight as ever, she has good balance from fore to rear udder,
and an excellent medial. I love the shape and feel of her udder and her teats are the
perfect size and shape. If I could clone just one of my goats, Rebekah would be the one.

Ruth has a incredible butter-soft udder, wonderful teats and orifices, as a first freshener, she
was my favorite doe to hand milk. She's is just stunning and moves about the farm with the grace
of a ballerina and has the sweetest disposition. She has small elf ears, (less than 1/2" of
cartilidge). Ruth took 1st place in her age group at

Tizzy is a very compact doe, more of a Nigerian Dwarf size. She has wonderful
overall conformation, very nice open ribbing, excellent top line, good feet and toes, all
in a smaller package than I'd like to see in a MiniMancha, but Tizzy is producing kids
that are a good deal larger than she is. I've included 2 photos of Tizzy's udder just BEFORE
freshening because I was so pleased with it, she has a beautiful high and wide escutcheon
with an udder that looks like a bowling ball. She is easy to handmilk with nice sized teats
and orifices.

Janie has a wonderful long capacious body, with the elegance of her dam and grandam.
Janie freshened 3/21/11 with a single buckling. Janie's first udder is nice and she is
producing fine, but I expect and hope to see capacity improvements in her 2nd and 3rd udder
like we've seen with her dam and grand-dam. She has her dam's perfect teats and butter
soft texture. Of course it would have helped if I'd clipped all the way to the top of
the arch of her escutcheon and around her legs for the photo. It was still cold out and I
wanted to clip as little as possible. I need to get back out there with the camera.

Like her dam, Layla is very lean and dairy with plenty of depth and capacity.
She is standing wonky in the udder photo above as she's still not very comfortable
with the grate surface on the milkstand and the whole process of milking in general.
Only slightly taller than a Nigerian, 3 days into her first freshening, she is
giving us over 3lbs a day! She is totally knocking our socks off!

is forward slightly, thus her right rear foot appears to turn out at the toe in this
photo. She isn't hocky, and does stand with straight toes on flat ground, the milkstand
is a metal grate and they aren't able to stand as straight on it as a flat surface.
The udder photo above on the far right is her 2nd freshening udder March 2012.

ARMCH/GCH Texas Flat Rocks Pearl *M x Little Orchard TF Xavier *B

Seraphina is a spectacular doe out of GCH Texas Flat Rocks Pearl *M and Little Orchard TF Xavier *B.
Pearl was an ADGA top ten producer, had an extended lactation of 630 days
and during her last lactation produced 2,690 lbs (approx 336 gallons) of milk
in 294 days. It is known that Pearl's parents were both purebred LaMancha,
but Pearl was registered as Grade LaMancha due to a paperwork issue with her dam.
Pearl's Linear Appraisal Score in 2010 was 87. Pearl passed away 3/20/11.
She was truly spectacular and we are thrilled be working with her daughter
Seraphina's sire, Little Orchard TF Xavier *B has an incredible pedigree and
many exceptional kids on the ground. Seraphina's sister, Rejoice
took 3rd place in her class at ADGA Nationals 2010 and took Jr. Grand Champion
in her very 1st show.
